"Round table" on issues relating to customs declaring was held in Shymkent
On 30 November, a round table with participants of foreign economic activity on the issue of customs declaring was held under a leadership of the head of the public revenues department N. Kusherov. It was attended by the deputy chairman of the Nur Otan party branch B. Tolegenov, the deputy director of the Atameken Chamber of Entrepreneurs D. Daniyar, employees of the department and the media.
As N. Kusherov noted, in the Plan of the Nation “100 Concrete Steps”, the Head of State spoke about the introduction of the “one-stop solution” principle for customs procedures by exporters and importers and the introduction of an automated system for clearing goods. In order to implement the Plan, as well as the Digital Kazakhstan program, the new Code of the Republic of Kazakhstan “On Customs Regulation in the Republic of Kazakhstan” provides for the submission of declarations for goods transported across the customs border of the Eurasian Economic Union in an obligatory manner in electronic form. For this urpose, the ASTANA-1 information system has been introduced.
Its main objectives are to simplify and speed up customs procedures, to increase the efficiency of collecting customs payments and taxes, to create a reliable basis for the implementation of the Single stop for export and import operations. Most importantly, the introduction of this information system will significantly affect the reduction of corruption.
During the meeting, reports were made by the head of the customs control directorate T. Turganbayev, the head of the tariff regulation directorate A. Sametova, the key specialist of the customs control directorate A. Imanaliev.
