Administrative delegation met with Shymkent citizens

Vice Prime Minister G. Abdykalikova held meetings with Shymkent residents and explained the principles of the new program “Social Wardship”. Berdybek Saparbayev, Minister of Labor and Social Security of Population, Kulyash Shamshidinova, Minister of Education and Science, Lyazat Aktaeva, Vice-Minister of Health, Markhabat Zhaimbetov, Chairman of the Committee for Construction, Housing and Utilities told about the measures of social support of the population, state assistance own business, on the conditions for providing targeted social assistance under the legislative innovations, on improvement measures of education system, raising the status of teachers in society, to improve the quality of medical services, including primary health care, on the rules for allocating rental housing and mechanisms for preferential housing loans. The increase in wages to education workers by 30% is expected from June 1. It will grow among 500 thousand workers of this system - teachers, educators and their assistants in preschool institutions and boarding schools, methodologists, social teachers, psychologists of kindergartens and colleges, librarians, accountants, secretaries, technical staff and other categories.







Deputy Mayor of the city Gulzhan Kurmanbekova informed that in order to support the socially vulnerable people in the third metropolis, 100 investment projects in the areas of housing, education, infrastructure and transport are planned in 2019, at the expense of the city budget. As a result of their launch, it is planned to open over 22 thousand new jobs.






G. Abdykalikova held a meeting with students of SKSU named after M. Auezov, where the main directions of the state youth policy, as well as the implementation of activities in the framework of the Year of Youth was discussed.


The next item was the FEZ "Ontustik", where she got acquainted with the work of three industrial enterprises. There are 1396 jobs, including 1227 - for large and low-income families.


Then, in the "Kaynar" business center, the vice-premier held a meeting with the district mayors, heads of large enterprises, business structures and trade union organizations on the development of social partnership and social responsibility. G. Abdykalikova appealed to them to actively help low-income workers.







During the trip, the Deputy Prime Minister got acquainted with the work of the city territorial center for the provision of social services. Here, special social services taking into account the individual needs of the recipients of services, their socialization, and adaptation to the environment are rendered. 300 people receive rehabilitation here annually.
