The famous metallurgist Satybaldy Ibragimov died
Today, our dear fellow countryman and a man who contributed to the development of independent Kazakhstan, Satybaldy Ibragimov died. The word "dear" sounded for a good reason: Satybaldy-aga proved that he is the son of a great nation, even during his lifetime. Even the last word of the aksakal was dedicated to his native country. His heart suddenly stopped at a meeting with Shimkent mayor Yerlan Aitakhanov with intellectuals, when the elder spoke about the problems of modern society.
Satybaldy Tlemisovich Ibragimov was born on March 13, 1940 in the Karasu village, Sairam district. Doctor of Economics, scientist, ex-deputy of the Mazhilis of the Parliament of the Republic of Kazakhstan, he graduated from Vocational Technical School No 8 in Ukraine (1959), P. Lumumba Peoples' Friendship University in Moscow. He started his working career with the First President of Kazakhstan, Elbasy Nursultan Abishevich Nazarbayev, making a worthy contribution to the development of domestic metallurgy.
Satybaldy-aga began his career as a metal smelter in the Temirtau town and subsequently held senior positions. In 1988-2000, he was vice-president of the "Kazakhaymak" company, the president of "Karmet-Ontustyk" company, the representative of the "Uspatnit" head office of London in Temirtau, and the president of the "Kazkhrom" company. He was a member of the Eurasian Industrial Association.
